This is the exhibition.of postcards in Slovenia which, has moved to a larger gallery venue for summer 26. This photograph shows my painting "Shameful Lips" (the explanation for the title is in an earlier post) being picked out. This post by @13b_ljw is announcing an article that has been written in a local magazine.

My painting 'Orange Landscape' has been selected by @no.35gallery for their online exhibition 'Colour'
It does make me smile that my work should get into this particular exhibition because colour is so important to me it seems to resonate in everything I do, paint, wear and even in my home. And here I have used orange, purple, red and blue to describe an Icelandic landscape with snow covered mountains.

It does make me smile that my work should get into this particular exhibition because colour is so important to me it seems to resonate in everything I do, paint, wear and even in my home. My art, @tin_stanton art and @kreedartist is being exhibited @thewhitehorse_wot in Westbury on Trym in Bristol. It looks so cool to see it in this lovely environment, and the colour scheme seems to compliment the paintings. Thank you so much Emma and Chloe.

If you fancy a visit the food looks amazing especially the Sunday lunch. So a bit of art and some amazing food what's not to like.

I really like this painting but apparently this behaviour in cats which, seems to us to be affection is in fact a form of bullying. Licking and caressing the other cat untill it submits and gives up that best spot in the sun or next to the fire. The cat receiving the affection doesn't look happy.

I feel a such joy when I see boats, it's one of the reasons why I live in Bristol, where boats are part of the urban landscape. I've been trying to express that joy in my paintings of boats using joyous broad brush strokes. And I think I'm starting to get there.

We are going to see a Drama School Residency sharing of students work at Lucky Chance the home of the Emma Rice Company @emmaricecompany The source material that the students have been working on is The Gashlycrumb Tinies by Edward Gorey. It's a very macabre but funny version of the alphabet.

I had been given the challenge of decorating a heart shaped magnet @artfulweasels and was trying to think of a way to avoid the obvious 'sweet and lovely' imagery. And with this inspiration I think I successfully avoided it, "H is for Hector who's heart I ate." I kept it in the black and white style but I'm busting to put some red on it.
